Web applications are functionalities that need to be executed by the web browser instead of the web server that stores the website.<\/p>
Web applications often deal with data from a database, so in that sense a small part of their functionality is still ran by the server.<\/p><\/div>

The precise costs of a custom web application depend on your wishes. The hourly rate for developing a custom web application is higher than the hourly rate of building websites or webshops.<\/p>

    In order to make an accurate estimation of the required hours, we create a list of steps for custom web applications, which we use for both the estimation of hours and whilst programming.<\/p><\/div>
    Are there monthly maintenance costs for my custom developed web application?<\/h2>
    No.<\/b> We like to develop custom web applications in such a way that they are dependent on as little third parties or technologies, to minimize the risk of dealing with issues related to those.<\/p>
    Because of this, there are no monthly maintenance costs.<\/p>
    If it were necessary, however, to do maintenance to your custom developed web application in order to make sure it works together with third party code, then we will let you know in advance. If you agree with the amount of estimated hours, then we will fix it.<\/p><\/div>
    What technologies do we use for our custom developed solutions?<\/h2>
    We use vanilla<\/i> JavaScript for the functionalities of your custom web application. If necessary, we use parts of jQuery<\/i> to be able to cooperate with third party applications.<\/p>
    Vanilla<\/i> JavaScript means that it is being developed without the use of frameworks, such as jQuery.<\/p>
    For functionality to be run on the server<\/a>, we use PHP 8<\/i>. We only use PHP 7<\/i> if this is necessary to be compatible with a website that only functions when the PHP version is set to 7.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
